IEEE WIE London Canada is an affinity group of IEEE Regional WIE mainly Region 7 (Canada). The mission of IEEE WIE is to facilitate the recruitment, training, and retention of women in technical disciplines globally. IEEE WIE envisions a vibrant community of IEEE women and men collectively using their diverse talents to innovate for the benefit of humanity.

Women’s Perceived SET Stall Rates

Women’s experience of feeling stalled in their career also varies by race/ethnicity. African American women experience the highest perceived stall rates at 48 percent. Thirty-four percent of White women feel stalled, and 32 percent Asian and Hispanic women feel stalled (Hewlett et al., 2014).
